Elevation profile

From a xyz-file (for example: line xyz) that is a 2D line with elevation values in the third column, it is possible to generate directly in the browser the elevation profile (proportion lenght to elevation 1:1) with xy coordinates (f.e.: profillinie.txt).

Please select xyz-file via the file dialog below. Afterward a downloadlink with xy coordinates of elevation profile for the further reduction in CAD or GIS will automatically generated.

Below you see a map illustration of the xyz-file (line.xyz). On the right is a image of the elevation profile (profillinie.txt).

To enlarge the pictures, click in them. Data source of the map and elevation data: „Land Tirol- data.tirol.gv.at“

This function could be a part of a special web application for profiles for hydrology with an integrated map window.
